Here are the kids the other day running through the sprinklers while I tried to save our lawn from dying. People around here don't really water their lawns too much. But at least the kids had fun. I am still getting used to this whole, having a yard to take care of thing.

I know what you mean about the whole yard thing...I watered so much at first while we were here to save our yard but now I am down to once a week and I hope it rains for the majority of the time so I don't have to water. We don't have a sprinkling system and so it is a little more work. But I do enjoy mowing...even in the heat. It looks like you already have landscaping in the yard...that is nice. We have none and well I think both of us want it but don't want to put the effort into putting it in...lots of work.
Yards are fun and while your watering let the kids play I'm sure they are still making friends in the area and when school starts you will have more fun things to do. I rember our first yard in Magna and all the work then moving to West Jordan yard was in but had to still do alot to it then moving again to Lehi and taking a long time to get it all in the back yard still has spots that look like I do not water it but I do
Good luck keeping it all up next year will be better you will be more use to a yard by that time and not just apt.
